Ignition Credit, part of the STAR Asset Finance group, is proud to continue its tradition of supporting the local community this Christmas. As a “national business with a local touch,” Ignition has once again chosen to forgo printed Christmas cards in favour of something far more meaningful. This year, the team is delighted to make a donation of £500 to Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity (RCHT Charity) a cause that holds a special place in the hearts of many within the business.
RCHT Charity works tirelessly to enhance patient care across the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, St Michael’s Hospital in Hayle, and West Cornwall Hospital in Penzance. Their mission is to fund projects that go beyond what the NHS can provide alone, including specialist equipment, improved patient environments, and initiatives that support the wellbeing of staff and families. With hospitals facing increasing seasonal pressures, Ignition’s donation comes at a particularly important moment, ensuring the charity can continue making a real and immediate difference across Cornwall’s healthcare community.
The cheque was handed over during Ignition’s annual Christmas Jumper Day, bringing an added touch of festive spirit to the occasion.
Lynne Lees from the RCHT Charity shared their gratitude:
“We’re delighted to be Ignition’s Charity of the Year. Paul and the team are consistently kind to RCHT Charity and they’re helping to make a difference to the people of Cornwall across St Michael’s Hospital, Royal Cornwall Hospital and West Cornwall Hospital. We’re extremely grateful for this generous donation and we look forward to seeing them all again in the New Year. Meanwhile, we wish them all a very Merry Christmas.”
Ignition is proud to support an organisation that plays such a critical role in the wellbeing of local patients, families, and frontline staff. The team looks forward to continuing its partnership with RCHT Charity into 2026, helping to ensure Cornwall’s hospitals have the resources they need when it matters most.
