Continued Ignition Credit success means growth in staff numbers again

STAR Asset Finance company Ignition Credit PLC has brought in three new members of staff.

Based in Truro and specialising in finance for assets from plant and machinery to vehicles and business equipment, Ignition has been expanding its workforce since its’ acquisition by STAR in 2015.

Under the leadership of new managing director, Paul Caunter, the new recruits will bring the number of Ignition staff to 23.

Andy Morris joins the team as a senior underwriter from Paragon Bank Business Finance, whilst Alan Brookland joins as an internal broker account manager from Swinton Insurance. To complete the trio, Katie Geal has been appointed as an administrator from Towergate Insurance.

The company has also promoted Samantha Keen from management accountant to financial controller.

Caunter said: “We’re fortunate to have an exceptional team at Ignition, who are highly focused on providing excellent service for our customers.

“As a result, we have been identified as one of the fastest growing companies in the South West for the last four years, and have just enjoyed our best ever financial year.

“I’m delighted to welcome Andy, Alan and Katie to Ignition, to help further strengthen the team and build on this success.”

Morris added: “Ignition offers a unique, personal approach when it comes to organising finance for its clients, seeking out the best solutions on a case by case basis.
